Our aim is to contribute to a high quality Apprenticeship experience for both the apprentice and the host employer, by providing a hassle free service that achieves simplicity in recruiting and training exceptional apprentices, creating long term jobs for talented individuals.
The Leeds ATA is a unique employment model and training agency that enables employers to welcome new talent into their business by means of hosting an apprentice within their company. Throughout the Apprenticeship the applicant remains an employee of the ATA. From recruitment through to the end of the employment term, we manage any HR issues, payroll administration and performance reviews on behalf of the host company. We also provide supervision and additional support for the apprentice and coordinate their training schedule with our approved training provider.
For this service, companies pay us a fee based on the wage agreed with the host and our management fee. It’s an all-inclusive cost agreed on an individual basis. Before placing the apprentice with a host company, we agree clear terms of business between all parties including training providers.
We’ll also work with companies to ensure long-term opportunities for our apprentices. Where ever possible, we encourage host employers to offer full time employment after the apprenticeship, ensuring companies not only get the employee who already knows their business but an employee with company loyalty from having been part of the team.
